Returns

We get it, buying art online can be hard. We offer a 7 day change of mind store credit for full priced, non-customised artworks.

To be eligible for a store credit, returns need to be:

  • Requested within 7 days of receiving the order
  • Full priced, not on sale
  • Unframed and unstretched - once a print has been stretched or framed, it becomes a customised item & is unable to be returned
  • Undamaged & returned in the original packaging

7 Day Change of Mind Policy

If you change your mind, we offer a 7-day store credit return on eligible full-priced, non-customised artworks. Simply email us within 7 days of receiving your order & we’ll guide you through the return process.

To qualify, your return must be:

  • Full priced (not on sale)
  • Unframed & unstretched - once a print has been stretched or framed, it becomes a customised item & is unable to be returned.
  • Undamaged & unused
  • Returned in its original packaging

Once we receive & inspect your return, we’ll issue an online store credit valid for 3 years, sent directly to the email used on your original order.

Returns Policy

We offer store credits, replacements & refunds in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law & the terms of this Returns Policy. Refunds are only provided where Steady Store has assessed & confirmed an item to be faulty; in these cases, customers may choose a replacement, a store credit or a refund to the value of the artwork, & Steady Store will cover shipping expenses for the replacement item. Customers should contact us immediately with their order number, a description of the issue & clear photos of the artwork to allow us to assess the fault.

As all artworks are made to order, we are unable to offer refunds for change of mind; however, we do offer a 7-day change-of-mind store credit return option for non-custom orders (unframed, unstretched prints) provided the item is full-priced, unused, undamaged & returned in its original packaging; in these cases, customers are responsible for all return shipping costs & original shipping charges are not refundable, & a store credit will be issued once the item is received & inspected. Store credits are unable to redeemed for cash. As all framed or stretched artworks are customised, we are unable to accept change-of-mind returns for these custom items. Nothing in this Policy limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Customised Items

Any artworks that have been framed or that have had the canvas artwork stretched, have been customised & therefore are unable to be returned.

If you have any questions or concerns about this, we recommend you reach out to hello@steadystore.com.au prior to purchasing so that you're 100% confident.

Damages or Faults

If your artwork has arrived with a blemish, don't fret, take a couple of photos in good natural lighting & email us at hello@steadystore.com.au as soon as possible.

If the artwork is deemed faulty, we will replace, credit or refund you. In the event of refund, please allow up to 10 days processing time for the funds to appear in your bank account.

Request a Return

If you would like to to request a change-of-mind store credit return, email us at hello@steadystore.com.au within 7 days of receiving your order.

Exchanges & Cancellations

To ensure fast turnaround times, artworks are typically sent to print on the same day an order is placed (excluding weekends & public holidays). For this reason, we’re generally unable to cancel or amend orders once they’ve been placed.

We are unable to offer exchanges just yet; however, if you’ve ordered a non-custom artwork (unframed, unstretched) & change your mind, you’re welcome to return it within 7 days of receiving your order, provided it meets our change-of-mind criteria, in exchange for a store credit to repurchase your preferred artwork.
