PRINTS
What are your prints made of?
We take our prints incredibly seriously. We have carefully selected two options for fabrications that are designed to feel far closer to the originals than you might expect.
Fine Art Paper
Our paper artworks are printed on a premium 320gsm cotton rag fine art paper with a softly textured finish that gives the works a real sense of depth - these are not your stock-standard poster prints. We source our premium paper fabrication from Europe, they are certified acid-free to ensure the longevity of your piece. They are printed with a Canon Fine Art Printer using 12 Colour Pigment Inks including Chroma Optimiser for superior colour richness - they really do look amazing.
Canvas
Canvas artworks are printed on a premium 350gsm cotton/polyester blend archival fine art canvas specially selected for it's excellent image sharpness & it's durability in the stretching process. The texture of the canvas adds an extra depth to the pieces which so remarkably replicates the look of the original works.
Keep in mind fine art prints will naturally display some very subtle variations in colour due to how they absorb the pigments - but certainly nothing drastic enough to impact how they will look in your home.
What's the difference between canvas & fine art paper?
Our 320gsm fine art cotton rag paper produces museum-quality detail with an incredible colour accuracy. Our fine art paper prints are certified acid-free to ensure they stand the test of time. All paper prints come with a white border to allow space for an optional mat board when framing. Please note though these pieces are delicate & need to be protected behind perspex or glass in a frame to ensure a finish that lasts.
Our canvas artworks are printed on a premium 350gsm cotton/polyester blend, our archival fine art canvas offers excellent image sharpness & durability. Canvas prints include a mirrored edge around the artwork, allowing the canvas to be stretched over a frame while preserving the full image on the front & preventing blank edges.
What framing options do I have?
We're focusing on a print-only offering currently. We will only ever provide premium, gallery-quality pieces to our customers, & at this stage, we are unable to offer accessible price points on framing without compromising on materials or craftsmanship.
Ready Made Frames
All artworks are produced in standard A-series sizing (unless otherwise stated), making it easy to source ready-made frames to suit your space & style.
Premium Bespoke Framing Service
For collectors seeking a complete solution, we offer a premium framing service on request in collaboration with a trusted local maker. Email us for a price list.
How long will my artworks last?
Your artworks are an investment that will last generations! We use Giclee quality pigment inks, & premium fine art papers & canvases to ensure every piece is museum-quality & fade-resistant. These archival materials are designed to stand the test of time, offering up to 60 years of light fastness & 200 years of album life.
To extend the lifetime of your fine art paper prints, we strongly recommend protecting these in a frame with perspex or glass.
How do I choose the right artwork?
There are a couple of factors to consider when choosing the perfect artwork for you.
Spacing: As a general rule of thumb, your artwork should be about 2/3 the width of the furniture it sits above.
- If there is no furniture in the space, then opt for a larger statement piece.
- For smaller artworks, we love how intentional hanging two pieces side by side can look in a space - just opt for a pair of artworks that echo each other in colour or tone for a balanced look.
- Tall or narrow spaces look perfect with a portrait or square statement piece.
As a guide, the centre of the artwork should sit at eye level (around 145–155cm from the floor), adjusting slightly higher when hanging above furniture.
Framing: Framing isn’t just protective, it changes the visual weight of the artwork.
- Lighter frames feel more relaxed & minimal
- Darker frames create contrast & a stronger focal point
Colours: When considering colours, just remember that your artwork doesn’t need to match all of your furniture
- Look for one colour already present in the room & let the artwork echo it subtly.
- If your space is largely neutral, artwork is the easiest way to introduce a bit of colour & personality.
When in doubt: If you keep coming back to the same artwork, that’s usually the one.
