SHIPPING + DELIVERY
When will I get my order?
Our prints are made to order right here in Sydney. Print-only orders will be dispatched from our warehouse within 3 - 5 business days (although often faster!).
Orders that include framing take up to 10 - 14 business days to be dispatched. Our frames are handmade to order so these take a bit longer.
For the majority of our parcels, we use the Couriers Please service to get these special pieces to your door.
How much is shipping?
We cover the cost of standard shipping Australia wide for orders over $300 AUD.
For orders less than $300, there is just an easy $10 AUD flat rate. We cover any additional shipping costs for the folks living remote in Australia.
Will my artwork be safe in transit?
We want your special pieces to arrive safe & sound! Your artworks will be carefully packaged in layers of bubble wrap, reinforced cardboard & a heavy duty protective cardboard box or mailing tube.
In the rare instance that your artwork may be damaged in transit, contact us at hello@steadystore.com.au & we will issue an urgent replacement or a refund, if preferred.
Check out our Returns page for more info.
Can I track my order?
Absolutely! Once dispatched from our shop, you will receive an email notification with a tracking number. This tracking number will link to the carrier's tracking website.
In some cases, tracking details may take up to 24 hours to update so don't worry if you don't see the information straight away.
Do you ship internationally?
If you don't see your delivery country at the checkout, flick us an email at hello@steadystore.com.au & we can arrange a special delivery for you.
Can I change my shipping address?
If you contact us at hello@steadystore.com.au on the day of order, we will do our best to change this for you. Once orders are dispatched though, we are unable to change the address.
PRINTS
What are your prints made of?
Our paper artworks are printed on a 300gsm soft cotton rag fine art paper with a softly textured finish. They are printed with pigment inks for superior colour richness - they look amazing, if we do say so ourselves.
Canvas artworks are printed on a premium 420gsm cotton/polyester blend fine art canvas designed for longevity & excellent image sharpness. The texture of the canvas adds an extra depth to the pieces which we love.
Keep in mind fine art prints will naturally display some very subtle variations in colour due to how they absorb the pigments - but nothing drastic enough to impact how they will look in your home.
What's the difference between canvas & fine art paper?
Our 300gsm fine art cotton rag paper produces museum-quality detail with an incredible colour accuracy. However, it is delicate & needs to be protected behind perspex or glass in a frame. You can purchase these from us either rolled, or framed & ready to hang.
Our 420gsm canvas fabrications are a more durable option with a beautiful texture & a strong colour accuracy. These are available rolled, or stretched & framed by our local makers.
See our Art Guide for more tips.
Where are your frames made?
Our frames are made to order locally here in Sydney. We are really proud to be able to keep our manufacturing on Australian soil.
How long will my artworks last?
Your artworks are an investment that will last generations! We use Giclee quality pigment inks, & premium fine art papers & canvases to ensure every piece is museum-quality & fade-resistant. These archival materials are designed to stand the test of time.
To extend the lifetime of your fine art paper prints, we strongly recommend protecting these in a frame with perspex or glass.
How do I choose the right artwork?
Choosing the right piece for you goes beyond picking the artwork you love the most. Consider the space that the artwork will live in & as a general rule of thumb, your artwork should be about 2/3 the width of the furniture it sits above. If there is no furniture in the space, then opt for a larger statement piece.
For smaller artworks, we love how intentional hanging two pieces side by side can look in a space - just opt for a pair of artworks that echo each other in colour or tone for a balanced, cohesive feel.
Tall or narrow spaces look fantastic with a portrait or square statement piece.
